At the start of my internship at Slack, I quickly learned how much the people there love using emojis. There would be emojis in every single onboarding slide, welcome message, and of course, there were the reacjis. I then discovered the blobs, and I have to say I was obsessed. There were blobs holding up signs for every letter of the alphabet, so I had to write messages consisting of only blobs. My friend Daniel then came up with the idea of making a simple website to quickly generate these blob messages, because typing out the reacji names for each character was probably not the best use of the company's time. With BlobText, users can type out the message they wish to blobify, see what their message would look like, and copy the text that they can simply paste into channel.
